The complete list of APIs, for everyone.
Note from Ken:
When I used to walk into Radio Shack, back in the day, I’d marvel at the walls and walls of electronics parts.
No, not the computers, stereos, and gadgets, but the PARTS.
There’d be an entire wall of transistors, another of various color and size LEDs.
Capacitors, resistors, circuit boards, IO devices. Storage devices.
Servos, my god all the servos.
Radio control units. Sensors. Cameras. Speakers. Solar panels.
Bread boards for making your own custom circuits.
On and on.
Basically, I’d walk in, and my mind would just about melt all the way the f*ck down with ideas for all the robots I could build… right now, tonight, this weekend.
“Ken. Ken. Kennnn!” My mom would shout at me. “KENNNNN!”
“WHAT?!” I’d yell back. I was kinda salty at having my robot-daydream interrupted, not gonna lie.
“It’s time to check out. I got the watch battery we came in for.” she’d say.
The robot would have to wait for another day.
To this day, that’s basically what my mind does when I see huge lists of APIs. I start thinking of all the apps I can build.
Someone should open an API store and call it API Shack and hire Shaquille O'Neill to do the commercials.
And not sell watch batteries.
And no moms allowed. Unless they, too, want to build an app (or a robot).
Check out this API List, and just tell me you don’t start envisioning all the apps you could stitch together.
