The Friday Dispatch
Hey everyone!
Thanks for letting me take a few weeks off from publishing this newsletter. It’s been refreshing to have one less thing to focus on each week.
Even though I stepped away from the newsletter for a bit, I wasn’t on a full digital hiatus. I was very much working my tail off on day job stuff, as well as the next version of MastermindJam.
I’m really excited about the coming launch of the next version of MastermindJam. It solves a lot of problems people have with mastermind groups (as well as solves a few gripes people have with MJ).
But, man, it’s been a ton of work!
Anyway, on to the articles…

Interested in getting into a mastermind group?
We’ve got several groups looking for additional members, and many members looking for a new group.
🔥 William G., John B., and Christian C. could use an extra member or two on Wednesday evenings in their US-based mastermind.
🔥 Nazz A., Pascal K., and  Duncan W. could use an extra member or two for their Europe-based mastermind
🔥 Rich and Owen are looking for a group that would be a good fit for them in Australian timezones
And many more!
Also, I’ve been experimenting with putting groups together with five and six members. Previously, I was only doing four person groups.
The larger size helps ensure that enough folks can attend each meeting so that everyone is getting value, even if one or two people have a schedule conflict and need to skip a meeting.
I’ll be really interested to hear feedback on how groups are dealing with hot seat scheduling with larger (5-6 person) groups. It seems like sticking to an in-meeting agenda becomes more important in larger groups to make sure everyone has their chance to be heard.
The meeting room feature in MJ2 has a handy agenda feature to help everyone stay on track. Plus a button to allow you to invite a coach to give advice on a topic you’re struggling with.
All that said, if you’re interested in getting into a mastermind group, there is no better time than right now.
P. S. If you’d like to hear more about what is coming in MastermindJam v2, reply to this email and I’ll tell you all about it.
