The Friday Dispatch
Happy Friday, everyone!
Today, I turn 40. I’m busy wrapping up loose ends at the day job, and working on mastermind matches that I’d normally do on Sundays, all so my wife and I can take a weekend away, just the two of us, sans kids.
I’ve missed my self-imposed deadline to have MJ2 launched by today. Sad trombone. But, that’s okay. It’s still going to launch at some point this month, just not by today.
I’ve been so myopic about MJ2 recently that I lost track of an important customer email, and paid the price by getting ripped a new one by a customer on social media. And he was 100% right, I dropped the ball.
This just underscores how monumentally difficult is to juggle all the things (family, day job, MJ, friends, chores around the house, church) while pressing forward to complete the new thing (MJ2).
I’ve been reminded to just own my mistakes, and give myself a break for just being human and not having bandwidth to do an amazing job at all the things at all times.
Take a breath, continue forward. Good things are on the horizon.
Okay, thanks for listening!
